FaceTite by InMode
Our face and neck are often the first areas to show signs of ageing. The natural process of losing elasticity and firmness, combined with factors like sun exposure, lifestyle habits and genetics, can lead to visible changes such as sagging skin, wrinkles and loss of definition along our jawline.
FaceTite is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to tighten and contour the skin of the face and neck. By heating the skin and underlying tissues, FaceTite can help address the effects of ageing without surgery — book in for a consultation to find out if FaceTite is right for you.
A Note from Dr Aleks
I am proud to say that OLA Aesthetics was the first clinic in Western Australia to introduce FaceTite. In my opinion, it is the next best alternative to a facelift for someone who doesn't want to undergo an invasive surgery.
Not only does it offer less downtime and fewer risks compared to a traditional surgical procedure, but it also does not require general anaesthesia and takes 90 minutes or less from start to finish. What is perhaps most remarkable about FaceTite is its versatility. We can use this technology to address a wide range of concerns and skin types, and it does it all by using your body's own powers to lift!

What Is FaceTite?
FaceTite is a minimally invasive facial contouring treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to tighten skin, reduce excess fat and improve the overall appearance of the face and neck. Developed by InMode, a leader in aesthetic medical technology, FaceTite is part of a suite of technologies that offer nonsurgical alternatives to popular cosmetic surgeries.
FaceTite can be used on its own to treat a variety of facial and neck concerns, including sagging skin, jowl heaviness, wrinkles and fine lines. It can also be used in conjunction with other treatments, such as Morpheus8 for skin resurfacing and remodelling or AccuTite for precise contouring of delicate areas like the brows or eye region. Our personalised approach is designed to provide comprehensive and holistic facial rejuvenation.
How Does FaceTite Work?
FaceTite uses radiofrequency energy to simultaneously tighten skin and melt away unwanted fat, resulting in a smoother and more sculpted appearance. The treatment is performed using a specialised handpiece that features two electrodes: one that is placed beneath the skin through a small incision and another that glides along the skin surface.
During the procedure, the device emits radiofrequency energy, which flows between the two electrodes to heat the skin and underlying tissues. This thermal energy causes contraction of the collagen fibres, leading to a visible tightening effect. At the same time, the heat liquefies excess fat cells and triggers an ongoing process of collagen and elastin production.
FaceTite features advanced temperature monitoring and control, ensuring the energy is delivered at levels that produce results while minimising risk. This technology also allows the treatment to be tailored to each patient's individual needs.
The OLA Experience
Consultation
Your FaceTite experience begins with a comprehensive consultation. During this one-on-one meeting, your doctor will take the time to listen to your concerns, assess your facial structure and skin quality, and discuss your aesthetic goals in detail. They will then determine whether FaceTite is a suitable treatment option for you, and if so, develop your bespoke treatment plan.
Preparation
Your doctor will provide detailed pre-treatment instructions to help you prepare for your procedure. These may include avoiding certain medications, such as blood thinners and anti-inflammatory drugs, for a specified period before your treatment, as well as refraining from smoking and excessive alcohol consumption.
Treatment
FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anaesthesia or light sedation. Your doctor will disinfect and mark the treatment areas, then administer the anaesthetic. Once it has taken effect, your doctor will make a small incision and apply the FaceTite handpiece, working section by section until all desired areas have been treated.
What Is the Average Downtime and Recovery?
One of the most significant advantages of FaceTite over a facelift or neck lift is the shortened recovery period. Immediately following your FaceTite treatment, you may experience some swelling, redness, bruising and tenderness in the treated areas. These side effects are normal and typically subside within a few days to a week. Individual recovery times vary.
Most patients can resume their daily activities shortly after the procedure and return to work within five to seven days. Though the recovery time is significantly less than after surgery, you may still be advised to avoid vigorous physical activity for two to four weeks post-treatment.
To support the recovery process, you will be required to wear a compression garment. This garment helps to minimise swelling, promote skin contraction and maintain your newly sculpted facial contours. Your doctor will provide you with detailed instructions on how long to wear the garment.
What Results Can I Expect From My FaceTite Treatment?
You can expect to see a gradual improvement in your skin's texture, firmness and overall appearance. While some initial results may be visible immediately after the procedure, the full effects of your FaceTite treatment will develop over the following months as new collagen is produced.
Full results may be noticeable as early as six weeks, and the ongoing process of collagen remodelling can continue for up to 12 months. The benefits of FaceTite can be enjoyed for up to five years with a healthy lifestyle and good skin care habits.
FaceTite FAQ
Is FaceTite painful?
Prior to the treatment, your doctor will administer local anaesthesia to ensure that you feel minimal discomfort during the process. Most patients report feeling only mild pressure or a warm sensation as the FaceTite handpiece delivers RF energy to the treatment areas. Post-treatment, you may experience some tenderness or soreness, which can be managed with over-the-counter pain relief and cold compresses.
What are the risks of radiofrequency skin tightening?
As with any cosmetic procedure, radiofrequency skin tightening treatments like FaceTite carry some potential risks and side effects. These include:
Discomfort during and/or after the treatment
Temporary redness (erythema) in the treated area
Some bruising and/or swelling that should resolve in days, weeks or months
Although uncommon, burns can occur
Scarring is rare, but is possible if the skin surface is disrupted
Numbness around the treatment area
Infection is a rare complication; should it occur, antibiotics and/or surgical intervention may be necessary. Infection can increase the risk of scarring. Proper care of the treatment area is important in the prevention of infection.
How many FaceTite procedures do I need?
Most patients achieve noticeable results with a single FaceTite treatment. It is not designed to be performed in a series, as many other nonsurgical treatments are. However, the exact number of procedures recommended can vary depending on your individual goals and the extent of your skin laxity. During your consultation, your doctor will assess your specific needs and create a custom treatment plan accordingly.
How can I maintain my FaceTite results?
Leading a healthy lifestyle with a consistent skincare routine may prolong the benefits of your treatment. Protecting your skin from sun exposure is critical, as UV rays can accelerate the breakdown of collagen and contribute to visible skin ageing. We recommend using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 daily and limiting your time in direct sunlight. Eating a balanced diet, staying hydrated and getting enough sleep can also help promote healthy skin from the inside out.
What is the pricing for FaceTite treatments?
The cost of FaceTite treatments in Perth varies based on the areas being treated and the complexity of the procedure. Our prices start from $1500. During your consultation, we will provide you with a detailed quote tailored to your specific needs and treatment plan.
